Music video for the song “How to Save a Life”. It’s about a young girl dealing with life’s hardships. Through her searching, she finds truth and freedom. I made this video a few years back. I recently saw howtosavealife.com website and it said to make your own video with the song. So i did some re-edits to the original video and decided to put it on YouTube. You can see the original video with the Radiohead song on my website. www.mdshivers.com I originally called it “The Mask”. Yes this video is a bit weird and that is what I was going for. Life can be weird and ugly. life can throw some mean stuff at you. The girl in the video was dealing with all of that and was able to get away from it.

and just too add, Cancer is usually incurable when the cancer becomes Malignant or metastasises to another organ, not if you’ve had it for a while.
Cancer is the uncontrollable growth of cells, not deformation of cells. Cancer can be fixed in severe stages with chemotherapy or radiation, its just less likely. There is no cure at the moment because unlike most diseases it is not a virus or bacterium, its a cellular problem. It most likely costs more money to treat someone with cancer then to research it as so many people have it and they have to regularly give them medicine and costly treatments. Good song though.

@krevburke Um just by the way, Cancer is the deformation of cells and those deformed cells reproduce. Cancer can be stopped in the early stages thanks to kimotherapy because it can be concentrated. In late stages it can not…..it spreads everywhere and if you did kimotherapy it would not help at all. There is not absolute cure for cancer.
@krevburke OMFG I totally agree with you!!! Like seriously people cancer is not a death sentecne so stop acting like it’s the worst thing that can happen to you because it’s not. My mom has cancer and she hates when ppl make her feel vulnerable and weak! It’s almost as if she was labeled “Cancer Girl” so stop acting as if it’s the end of the world. Yes cancer is a serious illness but still. I love the song though.
Well I’m not being rude. I’m almost positive they have a cure for cancer. Look at the technology we have, all the other things we have accomplished. The reason they do do not cure cancer is because it’s expensive. That’s the way our health care system looks at it. They look at it like ” its cheaper to let them die then to cure them”
