    On step #2 — biologists call it fight or flight. If you’re worried angry, the body evolved to interpret it as a life threatening situation, it assumes a preditor is attacking. It shuts down everything in the body for an emergency responce. The media is very good at exploting this, they frighten people about one thing, so they can pull a scam about something different.
